Fumeclear® FC-350 350W Laser Fume Extractor for Welding, Laser Engravers, Cutting

Came packaged well. All you had to put together was the flexible hose which made set up a breeze and ready to use right away. Extractor works great and is doing the job. Definitely recommend if you are planning on lasering indoors.

I am an owner of a laser cutter and a complete 3d resin print setup (printer, washing and curing) and since my current set up does not have window ventilation, this unit was key for a filtration system. The lowest setting works well with the fume tent my 3d print setup resides in. While the more powerful settings works well with laser cutting a variety of materials. The unit is heavy, but the wheels work great on my work mat or bare floors. The weight comes from the two HEAVY carbon filters doing their job of filtration. I enjoy the flexibility of moving the unit around instead of having to move everything close to a window which has been my past experience. I even found myself using the unit when pouring IPA outside of the fume tent and the hose is awesome for directing to any position and holding that position without support. Overall, the unit is easy to use and setup. Yes, it does make a bit of noise at it’s lowest setting but the noise is equal or a bit less that my indoor dehumidifier. At it highest setting the noise is quite loud so be mindful of that for your work space. Saying all this, the unit is overkill for just a 3d printer so you can buy a weaker model, but if you have a laser cutter as well this is your best bet. Really impressed and would strongly recommend.

We have been using this machine in the production of one of our products, a facial powder cleanser, and it has definitely exceeded our expectations! It does an excellent job of controlling airborne powder and keeping our workspace cleaner throughout the process. Highly recommend!

I have this unit in my home office, it's a small room but the FC350 extracts all of the nasty smells and fumes associated with laser engraving. I highly recommend to anyone setting up a fibre laser engraving machine.

I use this fume extractor during keratin treatments and it works very well. It significantly reduces fumes and makes the procedure much more comfortable for both the stylist and the client. The only improvement I would suggest is making the black intake nozzles a bit larger. A wider hood-shaped attachment would help capture more of the smoke and prevent fumes from escaping around the sides. Overall, it’s a great machine and very useful for salon work.

The FC-350 laser extraction system has been performing exceptionally well in our production environment supporting metal engraved tags for enclosure assemblies. Compared to our previous unit, this system provides significantly higher airflow, which has noticeably improved fume and particulate capture at the source. One of the most immediate benefits has been the near-complete elimination of odor during laser engraving, particularly when running high volumes of anodized aluminum tags. Overall, the improved extraction efficiency has contributed to a cleaner work area, better air quality, and a more consistent and comfortable operating environment for production personnel.

The attached video shows my FC-350 fume extractor working alongside my laser cutter. This machine has worked well for the last year. The airflow indicator light is a useful reminder to check and change filters. The CFM from the draw fan has been adequate to keep the laser cutter enclosure clear. If I invest in another laser machine, I'll most likely buy another FC-350 to handle that load as well. Thank you for making a reliable product.

I am a hobbyist solderer and also dabble in 3d printing. I do both in my office inside the house. The FC-350 has been tremendous with eliminating fumes from these operations in not only my office but throughout the house. I highly recommend.

I recently upgraded my fume extractor to the FC-350 and the difference has been dramatic when it comes to the air quality in my work room. I have it tucked away under a desk and having the remote makes it much easier to switch it on when needed. The large volume filters last much longer than the smaller unit i was using and the volume of air that it moves easily pulls the metal particles out when I work on brass with my fiber laser. I'm now looking at a second unit for my CO2 laser!

I'm blown away with this fume extractor. Or maybe I should say sucked away? I bought it for filtering wire flux core welding and it performs better than I expected. The airflow suction removes all the nasty smoke and fumes, even the smell. And it does this quietly enough not to require hearing protection, even at maximum air flow. The flexible suction hose is easy to position, and it stays there. The high quality construction and well-designed simplicity of this machine are evident. The only one happier with the FC-350 than me is my wife. Now she can't smell a thing when I'm welding.

It is the first equipment we sell in Mexico and customer was super impressed with performance, we looking forward to keep working together in future.

This product was more than I thought it would be...I have no wood burning smells while the machine is on and no lingering odors afterwards. Way more than I expected, so much so that when I put into service my larger laser machine I will NOT use the one it came with, I will definitely purchase another 350...thank you for a REALLY GREAT EXTRACTOR!!!

I've been using an FC350 fume extractor in my hobby shop for almost two years now, and although I was cautious about the ongoing expense of filtration machines, any other option would have been more toxic and problematic. I knew this was the best way. Buy the most powerful extraction system that you can afford, and keep it clean.

This unit is MORE than what I expected it would be. Quiet, powerful and the end result is no lingering odor in my shop. When I hook up my larger laser I am not going to use the extractor I purchased with it and buy another 350 - no brainer!!! Thank you for a GREAT PRODUCT!

we have been using this filter/fume extractor for over a year and a half now. It's amazing and really does a great job filtering. WE make nameplates for dog collars and it captures the brass dust amazingly!

After looking at many different options I decided on the FC-350. It has turned to be exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to run my enclosed 60 watt CO2 laser indoors with little to no smell.

The FC-350 allows us to operate our open frame 64-watt diode laser in a single car garage without any residual smell after the jobs are finished. We mostly running it on half speed which is plenty of airflow to remove the smoke from the laser honeycomb bed. Even after jobs are finished for the day, and you come back the next morning, there is no residual smoke smell (wood smoke from laser engraving/cutting). We added a magnetic 4" coupler to the top of the machine - which fits over the OEM hose adapter, to tie into our laser bed. Switching back to the supplied hose and hood - we love the ability to move it around the shop to cover traditional wood burning by hand - on low, it works great for the two of use to be able to talk and still breathe fresh air while enjoying some art time.

We have a enclosed laser engraver for use with rubber products which produces some serious fumes. The fume extractor create incredible suction even at half the power and the filter system is much thicker and robust than our previous extractor from a different company.

The FC-350 allows me to operate two lasers at once with little to no odors. I can cut and emboss wood and the smoke detector does not trip. Burning paint off metal tumblers and ammo cans also. I can recommend it if your unable to vent outside.

I am a neon tube bender. when processing a tube with block out paint on it, you get a smoke as it burns off. I had a hood made and attached my FC-350 attached to it and it works great. Very pleased with its performance and would recommend it to anyone.

After purchasing the FC-350 I have to say this fume extractor is very powerful and is more then enough for my 60w fiber laser, I am truly satisfied with the suction , I can’t wait to use it with may laser. I highly recommend this fume extractor for peace of mind knowing your air quality is clear of any toxins.

I finally bit the bullet as I add more machines to my hobby. Normally I vent outside with a 4inch inline fan and duct. I recently obtained a UV laser to learn that and wanted something just like the FC-350 for years, but just couldn't talk myself into it for the price.

I LOVE the machine (although it was shipped upside down for some reason and the 'accessories' box was taped to make one out of two.
I wanted a version with the wire mesh as I do a lot of 3mm wood etching and was worried about sparks and all that.

I thought the remote was a neat idea!
I LOVE how rigid the duct it so it stays in place!
I was originally worried about the fan as I thought it was just a normal PC style, but when I looked at it, it is definitely an industrial one!
I like the adjustable fan speed, and even on low, the item still vacuumed things off my plate, so I laughed and took mental note to not leave items too close to the inlet tube.

Now to the not-so-good. As I fired up the FC-350 and started my etching, I could smell the fumes. I repositioned the inlet tube closer to my project thinking I may not be retracting all the of the fumes. But I noticed the smell coming from the FC-350. I powered everything off and opened up the filter area and verified all filters were in their proper place. I also pulled out the Coconut shell filters to 'swoosh' them around to make sure there were no 'gaps' due to shipping on the machine's side or whatever. Each filter clearly had a 'noise' like a settling had occurred? You know, like when you buy a bag a potato chips and when you open it, it is like the bag it half empty? I'll keep using this device, but I'm worried about the smell. I prefilter, the mesh, and fiber glass filter all seem to be doing their jobs when I removed those to look.

Anyone else have this issue? I was looking at the FC-2004 initially, but choose this one specifically for the mesh filter.
