The FC-2003 Portable Laser Fume Extractor features universal casters, a self-supporting flexible arm, and a filter block alarm. Its compact design includes a high-quality 3-layer filtration system for various emissions. Equipped with an intelligent control panel and braked wheels, this welding fume extractor effectively captures particles, dust, and harmful smoke from soldering, as well as from 20W and 30W fiber laser engraving. It is also perfectly suited for your jewelry bench needs, efficiently handling fine dust in low to moderate quantities, and can be used for electric soldering, jewelry benches, and welding applications.
The Fumeclear FC-2003 dual-port fume extractor features a flexible dual-tube / dual-arm design with two extraction ports that operate simultaneously, delivering efficient fume capture for laser engraving (20-30W), soldering, welding, and 3D printing setups. In dual-port mode, it provides balanced 194 CFM airflow across both arms—ideal for multi-tool workstations, assembly lines, or dual-operator environments—while switching to single-port mode (by capping one port) unlocks maximum suction power and stronger negative pressure for heavy-duty, focused extraction. This versatile configuration eliminates the need for multiple units, significantly cuts costs, and boosts productivity, convenience, and workspace flexibility.
The Fumeclear FC-2003 fume extractor features an advanced anti-clogging intelligent alarm system with high-precision sensors that continuously monitor real-time airflow and filter status. When clogging begins, the system triggers a clear, immediate alert—ensuring prompt filter replacement or cleaning to sustain peak suction performance, extend filter lifespan, and prevent motor strain or reduced efficiency. This smart safeguard delivers reliable, hassle-free operation for laser engraving, soldering, welding, and other fume-heavy tasks.
The FC-2003 portable welding fume extractor features a high - performance remote control device to remotely control sophisticated machinery effortlessly and accurately. This cutting - edge remote control device is furnished with advanced technology, enabling you to smoothly manage the functions of the fume extractor remotely without any physical contact, thus ensuring easy operation and seamless control even when you are at a significant distance from the actual machine.
The FC-2003 is equipped with a remarkable three-layer filtration system. This advanced system has the outstanding ability to swiftly purify gas by effectively filtering out various particles, making it highly adaptable to a diverse range of scenarios. The system includes a high-density pre-filter, a genuine medium H13 HEPA filter for 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns, and a premium main filter with 5.5 lbs of high-concentration activated carbon featuring an exceptional iodine value of 800-1000 mg/g—twice that of ordinary products—for superior adsorption of stubborn chemical fumes, VOCs, and odors. Whether it's in industrial settings with complex chemical fumes, in households dealing with common air pollutants, or in specialized environments where precise air quality control is crucial, the FC-2003's filtration system can perform excellently to ensure the gas is purified to a high standard.
The FC-2003 Welding Fume Extractor boasts a high-speed brushless motor that delivers over 20,000 hours of uninterrupted, powerful suction, virtually eliminating mechanical wear and tear. This design enables the device to effectively manage various debris and dirt, with laboratory tests confirming suction power of up to 330 m³/h.

I have had this unit for 1 year now, and am happy with its performance. It is nice that the fan has multiple levels that you can run it, because at full-bore it is rather loud (and not always necessary). My only complaint is that out of the 10 pre-filters that came with it, 2 of them were cut about 3/4 of an inch too short in one direction, so they didn't fully seal in the opening of the filter housing. This isn't a complaint about the quality of the extractor, just a quality control issue.
I purchased this for use with a fiber laser, and planned to do heavy burning/ablation of steel & brass. Be aware that when doing this, you go through pre-filters FAST. I could only run the laser for about 3 hours before noticing a decrease in suction from the fume extractor. After 8 hours, I needed to replace the pre-filter, as it was utterly clogged with particulates. This is GOOD, because it means it was very effective at trapping dust that would have otherwise gone into the air, and been breathed in. Just be aware that if you plan to do this kind of laser work (depth map engraving on brass coins, etc.), stock up on a LOT of pre-filters.
Overall, I highly recommend this unit.
This fume extractor works perfectly! The suction power is strong, and the dual-port design makes it easy to use for two workstations at the same time. Its surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, and the filters are easy to change. It keeps the air clean and fresh while I work. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable fume extractor!
One of the bamboo plastic extractors failed. They replaced it no problem. Although, I have a separate air quality meter and sometimes it doesnt get all the particulates.
First let me say that the FC-2003 is a wonderful unit for 30w diode lasers. The diode I have does have an evacuation fan but it was average at best. I could smell the burning of the wood quite strongly using it. Then I bought the FC-2003 and I have to stay it is awesome! No more burning smell and from a health perspective I am very glad of that. The unit is well made, metal, small but powerful, everything I wanted. My only complaint is that the remote control is practically useless. You literally have to be a foot or 2 away from it for it to work. A friend of mine bought the same unit about the same time I did and he had the exact same issue. I would have given this unit a 4.5 rating if I could as the remote is a minor aspect to this unit. Either way... I am very happy with this and if this fits your needs you will be too!
I bought this after wasting money on a different fume machine brand. I was skeptical but have been so happy with this machine! Its doing exactly what it should be doing with removing smoke and the majority of fumes. I use this in a laser. If you plan to do that you will need to buy the 50mm hose attachment. Thats the only thing I didnt love but its not a big deal. The filter has last a lot longer than I thought it would. Ive had to replace the top filter piece (cant remember what its called) several times but those are really cheap. This machine is a great price considering what I was looking to buy elsewhere. Its not very big but does take up a little space. I like that its on wheels. Helps move it around when I need to change filters. Its kinda loud but all of these machines are that way so its not a problem for me. Overall it works really well. Im really happy with it!!!
The FC-2003 is ideal for work environments where multiple fume extraction points are required. Its dual-port design allows one unit to serve two sources, helping reduce overall equipment costs. It is well-suited for 10–30W fiber and diode laser engravers, including models such as the F1 Ultra, M1, D1 Pro, and the Epilog Fusion Pro 60W. It is also suitable for filtering fumes and fine particles generated by common 3D printers on the market, such as those from Bambu Lab and similar desktop 3D printing systems.
Yes, the FC-2003 is perfectly suited for your jewelry bench needs. It effectively handles fine dust in low to moderate
quantities and can also be used for electric soldering, 20W to 30W fiber laser engraving, and welding.
Yes. The FC-2003 can be used without the hood by directly connecting the hose to your machine’s exhaust or adapter port, as long as the port size matches or an appropriate adapter is used.
The power rating of the FC-2003 is 200W.
No. The filters are not washable. For optimal performance and filtration efficiency, the filters should be replaced periodically.
When used under normal conditions, our highly effective activated carbon main filter typically needs to be replaced only once every 8 months to 1 year. The glass fiber HEPA filter should generally be changed every 3 to 6 months.
