Connect the flexible tubeto the air inlet of the FC-100A solder fume extractor.
Open the latch to easily remove the FC-100A solder fume extractor's filter for replacement.

4. Non-Slip Tires
This control unit adjusts the solder fume extractor's suction power. Rotate clockwise to increase suction and counterclockwise to decrease it.
The filtration efficiency reaches 99%, capturing most large particles at this stage, including those larger than 10 µm.
The pre-filter effectively extends the lifespan of the HEPA filter.
The HEPA filter captures particles as small as 0.03 microns, including most VOCs from soldering, with an efficiency of 99.97%. This helps extend the lifespan of the activated carbon filter.
The activated carbon filter effectively removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, ozone, and some fine particulate matter from the air. It enhances air quality by adsorbing these harmful substances.

I tempered my expectations, but this looked a little bit more suitable for electronics than the similar unit Dave from eevblog reviewed so I thought it would work in any case. From that video, I prefer this one and it's a great value. The build quality is high, size is compact for what it is, hose holds well and has two nozzles, sound level is fine, and it came with 10 prefilters (which they cleverly used as side padding in the package).
I don't know how it compares to the $800+ units but I think the only major advantage of any other filter machine might be in filtration media which you could experiment with yourself on this power unit. It would be a massive leap up from those desktop fan things in any case.

I really like this unit. It arrived fast, was securely packed & easy to put together as all I had to do was insert the electrical cord into it & attach the hose. It picks up the fumes & it is easy to adjust the hose so it’s not in my way. I have the unit sitting in the floor under my work table & the hose is plenty long for doing my work; it is noisy but not bad. It comes with extra filters.

This fume extractor does a great job pulling in solder and glue fumes. The filters work well, I don't smell anything coming out the other end. The flexible tube is stiff but easily adjusted, reaching all the way from the floor to the top of the desk. The box is small enough to fit under the desk without getting in the way. The unit is fairly quiet, but it does make some white noise in the background. A pair of noise cancelling headphones will do the trick. I definitely should have invested in one of these earlier. At the very least, this system keeps the fumes out of your eyes and lungs.
