Things I like about this machine: The gooseneck is long enough to be easily placed; three suction speeds (low, medium, high); lightweight; and wheels. Best thing: In the studio, I can see the flashing red light out of the corner of my eye. It's easy to fix, I just use the remote. First off, I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again, despite a few failings. It is used for fume extraction and does a fine job of it. It is louder than the adjacent Quattro Solderpure, and has three distinct speeds vs the rheostat speed control of the Quattro. Because it’s loud, I needed close access to the switch to quiet while not in use so had to squeeze it into a location.……

I bought 2 of these and have 2 workstations set up in my lab where we do PCB soldering. Our workstations are both equipped with a microscope connected to a monitor, a voltmeter, a hot plate, a soldering iron, a heat gun, a microphone stand to hold the heat gun, and a Vevor XF180, so it's pretty crowded. The Fumeclear fume extractor is great value for the price! My facility manager was very skeptical……

The machine is extremely effective, well built, and well priced. I highly recommend it, especially for lead-free soldering that produces especially nasty flux fumes.

I have tried a few other air filter options with my laser cutter. All of them struggled to keep up with the smoke and really didn't deal with the other particulate matter in a timely manner. I put this one in place and it provided so much suction I could see the smoke being pulled towards the pipe faster than it was produced. I could barely smell anything and the measurement of air quality in that room didn't change at all.

I have been using my laser engraver to do aluminum business cards. Without a fume extractor I could smell the particles in the air even with a respirator on. Purchased this to alleviate some of the stuff being dumped into the air and was impressed by how much it cuts down on the smell and the amount of junk that was being put out.……

This product works very well. Got it for soldering and other stuff I do indoors that I should probably do outdoors....my irresponsibility aside, this thing works really well.
Would recommend for those wanting to extract/"clean"/circulate air....it's nicely sized (about size of small space heater) so it can fit just about anywhere. Good value

This is a great soldering fume extractor. The fan generates enough suction to pull in smoke from a fair distance, and the rigid / flexible hose works well to place the intake right where it's needed. The multi-stage filtration on this item is great, and with a hepa filter it actually filters the smoke out of the air. This is worlds better than cheaper fume extractors that seem to think pulling smoke through a thin carbon foam pad actually filters anything……

The filtration is excellent and when I tried burning a small bit of candles witih some debris in the wax near the intake, I also placed some white fabric over the air exhaust on the base and came back an hour later, to a completely clean and relativley smell free piece of cloth. This is important because it means they have an adequate amount of charcoal to filter VOCs as well, where hepa only type devices will miss those....and therefore a lot of soldering byproducts like formaldehyde……
Packaged nicely, arrived quickly, had the filters already installed, just need to plug in the power and connect the hose and nozzle. Bending it was a bit of a pain, but that's typical of this type of hose; it just made me wish for a pair of gloves because I got pinched a bit. Didn't smell anything unless I got way too close with the fan set too low.

Small enough for my work space but work great when I have it close to my engraver. I only use half the power and it’s made a big difference. I tested the filter usage, once it got pretty dirty……

This extractor is very, very well made. There is even acoustic foam lining the bottom where the fan is. It's also fairly quiet for this kind of machine……

It's a bit noisy for me, but I'm in a small room. Used it to extract alcohol fumes. It does the job well. Very impressive.

Fast delivery, good product quality, bamboo duct can be adjusted at multiple angles, very convenient. Two nozzles were given (round and rectangular). The suction is strong and the filter works well. 5 pre-filters were also included in the package. All in all, a very good product at a fair price. I will buy again.

We purchased this to pair with out Snapmaker Artisan 3-in-1 and it works perfectly for it! We can't detect an odor while we have it in use. Highly recommend!

I am a manicurist, and I asked the staff that I needed a machine that can be used for manicure, and I needed it to be quiet enough without making a lot of noise. He recommended FC2001A to me, and I like it very much. In fact, it can fit my work very well and will not burden my work.

Overall a really great tool for keeping my workspace clean. Does a really good job of purifying the air and removing smoke, I would say about 80%. The fan could be a bit stronger to handle more intensive sessions especially for the price. It’s still an effective and reliable smoke purifier and I’m happy with its performance and would recommend.

I'm not one to usually write reviews but this product far exceeded my expectations. The quality is great the packaging was very sturdy. The function is next level. It truly kills all smell from soldering and heat shrinking. It is a bit loud but you can’t move air without making noise. I find the lowest setting with the intake right above and slightly behind my work piece works very well. At the point of writing this I have over 20 hours on the unit no issues. 100% would recommend

It doesn't eliminate all the smell, but my garage is clear of smoke when I run this connected to my laser enclosure. Best of all fumes, smoke, soot aren't leaking into the house. My wife and family are very appreciative.
After reading reviews on various similar units, I had limited hope that one of these type of units would help. However, I was very surprised how well it does. I don't have to wear a mask while my Longer Ray5 20W is running. Worth the investment.

I tested the first filter with a small welding job. It is not meant for it but it did work. This is much better suited to a 30w laser.

I was considering getting rid of my engraver because of the fumes, This works so good that it now produces a sweet smell I am concluding it is because of the charcoal filter.
This is well worth it and I highly recommend it. It is loud but I can run it at a lower speed and still get great results.

Works like a charm Should have bought one years ago for soldering.
With the long duct I was able to mount the blower under the work bench. The remote is a nice feature. Running it on the lowest 2 settings is plenty of suction to pull the solder smoke away.
