Clean Air for Everyday Soldering

Capture solder fumes before they reach your breathing zone. Perfect for hobbyists, electronics repair, DIY projects, and home workshops.

Fans Spread Smoke. FC-2001A Removes It.

A small fan may move fumes away from your face, but harmful particles remain in the air.

FC-2001A solder fume extractor actively pulls smoke through a multi-stage filtration system, helping reduce:

  • Flux fumes
  • Fine airborne particles
  • Odors from soldering

Powerful Suction Where You Need It Most

120m³/h airflow captures smoke before it spreads.

The flexible hose allows you to position the nozzle directly above your soldering point for maximum efficiency.

✓ Strong airflow

✓ Adjustable hose

✓ Capture-at-source design

I pierce many of my woodturnings with a high

I pierce many of my woodturnings with a high speed dental tool. The process makes both fine particle dust and smoke/fumes. I needed a small, powerful system to clean the air and keep my lungs safe. The Fumeclear fits the job perfectly.

Small but powerful

I bought it for my xTool M1 Ultra. It works great but it isn't enough to remove the smell completely.

I'd still recommend it!

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear it works well with your xTool M1 Ultra. We appreciate your honest note about odor performance. For users with laser engraving machines, we typically recommend the FC-2002 for stronger smoke and odor control. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Good buy for DTF printing.

I print DTF therefore this fume extractor is very important. I have it just above the DTF oven vent and it works perfectly. The extension hose is easy to maneuver and it is sturdy. I like that it doesn't fall down but it stays in place. When I need a larger one for my upcoming shaker and oven, I will buy this brand again in the larger size.
When I first set it up, I had the extractor nozzle all the way down over the oven vent which prevented the oven from maintaining temperature. Make sure that it is not directly on the oven vent.
I print in my basement so the noise level of the extractor is not an issue for me. My printer and my furnace are much louder and I don't consider those things uncomfortably loud.

Sucks, but in a good way!

Does exactly as it is supposed to do. The distance from the work does matter, depending on the fan speed you use. It is far noisier than I had expected, but soldering is far more tolerable when not breathing the smoke. Not sure why I waited so long to get one. Have been soldering seriously for a very long while. Video at fan speed 2.

While you are shopping, get a Smart Infrared Tip Cleaner. You'll be glad you did.

Good for small projects inside house

Good design and appears durable. The noise level is minimal and easy to use. Functionality is easy and is great for small work. I have a we creat machine and this definitely assist in reducing smoke and smell

Sturdy Machine that Does a Great Job

This is a nice sturdy machine compact and does the job. The hose and intake are able to be positioned far enough above my work while burning hats to remove any smoke and odor residue. It is also fairly quiet. This is a great machine I highly recommend.

Clean Air!

Now, that I'm fully engaged in an DIY project with a whole lot of PCBs to assemble, I got myself an FC-2001A and I love it so much! It really sucks - in the best possible way :D.
The sales support was brilliant and very helpful - they took care of all the possible tax issues and were absolutely nice.
So 5/5 stars and thank you!

Exactly what I needed

I had been doing large stained glass pieces using only a fan to blow fumes away from my face. This wasn't a great practice. I decided to invest in this fume extractor. I feel far more comfortable with this unit now. There's less odor and I don't walk away with headaches after a full soldering session anymore.

Snorkel very versatile

Works incredibly well compared to a standard horizontal fan, especially with bulky work like a guitar

Excellent for portable work, but not enough for permanent workstation.

I needed a small portable fume extractor that I could travel with. This FC2001A does the job that I need and it is significantly better at filtering out toxic fumes compared to the cheap Weller/Hakko/Kotto desktop smoke absorbers (which are basically a 1/4" charcoal filter with a fan behind it). I think it's also better than the Kingsom SOON1 because it has a thicker/better filter and does not need a special DC power cord (like the Kingsom). That being said, the unit does have to be running at full speed and the suction hood needs to be placed directly over your solder smoke (you only get 70cfm out of this unit). Otherwise, there just is not enough air/CFM to move the smoke into the dust tube. It is small and very light weight. I can fit this unit AND the tube into a Dewalt 18 inch rolling tool storage bag (DWST560107) and still have room for a small soldering station and all the extra tools/materials that I need for working at a remote location. If you need a permanent desktop fume extractor the FC-100A is a much better choice, but my minimum recommendation would be something like a FC-2002 (which is a floor unit).

Great fume extractor!

Purchased this for my jewelry bench and so far very pleased with it. Using it for soldering and wax carving fumes. It has worked well on every setting, with each project. Worth the small investment!

I am very happy with my new Fumeclear 2001-A. It does a great job and is very quiet. This extractor is great for different applications including soldering and small dust particle collection. Also I want to say that Fumeclear provides a very good customer service and very fast shipping! If you need an excellent extractor I wouldn’t doubt to get a Fumeclear! Thank you!

Solder Station Fume Extraction

I purchased this for my 3D printing and hobby room so that when I work on soldering projects the fumes are reduced to acceptable levels. The unit is the perefect size for my work bench and works as advertised.

Compact and Effective

Works wonderfully for my home soldering station. Noise isn't obnoxious. Only has 3 speeds but the lowest seems to work for my uses for now. My only gripe is the power light blinks when the unit is off, would be nice if it was just off.

Portable

Wonderful addition to my jeweler's studio

During the good weather, I'd simply open the door and put a fan out; but with the freezing weather, I had to do something else. This is a nice size to put on the windowsill and aim down at the bench. I feel safe with a N95 mask and this extractor to work all day. It has double filters.

Im amazed by how this worked, I use it in a salon, close to a nail station, it absorbs the fumes effectively.

This the cheap one to get

I work in a shop in which soldering is our main thing, and we have an industrial grade fume extraction system. However we sometimes need off-site solder fume extraction. And this one is really good. There are cheaper ones, and *much* more expensive ones. This is the "nice" version of the cheap style, and it serves our needs perfectly.

Good value for a well made product

It's a great extractor for the price. I've used it for several or and am pleased with the performance. I wish IWould have gotten one size larger but that is an after thought.

Tiny little wonder!!

I love this machine. Just bought a dtf printer and oven. I live in a condo and cannot put a hose outside of my window to get rid of fumes. This is the solution!
