Laser Cutter Fume Extractors

Laser cutting produces more than just precise parts—it also releases fine particles, VOCs, and strong odors that can quickly fill your workspace. Whether you’re running a desktop laser cutter, a growing maker workshop, or an industrial production line, these fumes can affect air quality, visibility, and long-term health.

Fumeclear laser cutter fume extractor is designed to capture smoke and harmful gases directly at the source, keeping your workspace clean, safe, and comfortable. It’s ideal for makers, small workshop owners, schools, and industrial operators working with wood, acrylic, MDF, plastics, and coated materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a small welding fume extractor be used for laser cutting?

Small fume extractors typically have lower airflow and limited filter capacity. When used for laser cutting, the filter can become saturated quickly, and in heavy use cases, it may even lead to reduced performance or potential damage to the unit.

We recommend choosing a fume extractor that matches your actual working load, including machine power, material type, and usage frequency, to ensure safe and stable long-term operation.

Are your fume extractors compatible my laser cutting machines

Our fume extractors are compatible with most laser cutting machines on the market.

If you are unsure which model to choose, feel free to contact us. Simply share your laser cutter power, commonly used materials, and usage frequency, and we will recommend the most suitable solution for your setup.

How often do filters need to be replaced?

Recommended replacement cycle (depending on usage and materials):

  • Pre-filter: 1–3 months
  • HEPA / medium filter: 5–6 months
  • Activated carbon filter: 6–8 months

Heavy-duty or high-toxicity materials may shorten filter lifespan.

What is the difference between the FC-350 and the XL-300?

The FC-350 and XL-300 are indeed similar, but they differ in appearance and accessories: The XL-300 comes with a 100MM x 3M air intake pipe and includes an external exhaust interface. The FC-350 is equipped with a 75mm connector and does not support external exhaust connection.

Why is the XL-300 Fume Extractor better than a simple exhaust fan system?

Unlike basic exhaust fans that simply push fumes outside or recirculate them into the environment, the XL-300 actively filters smoke, fine particles, and harmful chemicals—helping protect your health and maintain cleaner indoor air quality.
