The FC‑2002 is capable of achieving a strong suction power of up to 153 CFM / 260 m³/h, effectively capturing smoke, dust, powders, wood chips, and other particles within a 15 cm range near the hood. Designed for desktop use, it is ideal for electronics repair, soldering benches, small laser engraving and cutting machines, 3D printing stations, and nail salon setups.
The key point is: toxins in fumes don’t disappear just because you use the machine less often. Over time, they can affect your health. Soldering, laser engraving, 3D printing, and nail salon work produce harmful fumes, dust, and VOCs. The Fumeclear FC‑2002 fume extractor captures and filters these pollutants, protecting your lungs and maintaining safer indoor air, especially in small workshops or studios.
This extractor uses a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and main carbon filter combination to achieve a purification efficiency of up to 99.97% for particles as small as 0.3 microns. The main carbon filter is made from high-iodine coconut shell activated carbon, providing superior adsorption of smoke, odors, and VOCs. Each unit comes with 10 replaceable pre-filters for convenient maintenance.
The built-in brushless motor is a real workhorse. Its design allows for seamless operation, churning out robust torque for top-notch performance. Minimizing friction-induced wear and tear compared to brushed variants, it sips energy sparingly and touts an extended service life, sparing you the headache of frequent upkeep and costly replacements down the line.
Equipped with a sophisticated anti-clogging mechanism, it stands as a stalwart shield against blockages. It wards off the accumulation of debris – be it sawdust, metal shavings, or other pesky particles – that could gum up internal passages. By keeping everything flowing freely, the equipment stays in peak operating condition, maximizing productivity around the clock.
This equipment hums along at a barely audible volume, making it a breeze to work alongside without the slightest distraction. Thanks to its cutting-edge engineering, noise output during operation is dialed down to a minimum, fitting snugly into any work setting, whether a bustling factory floor or a hushed office cubicle, and providing a tranquil work ambience.

It doesn't eliminate all the smell, but my garage is clear of smoke when I run this connected to my laser enclosure. Best of all fumes, smoke, soot aren't leaking into the house. My wife and family are very appreciative. After reading reviews on various similar units, I had limited hope that one of these type of units would help. However, I was very surprised how well it does. I don't have to wear a mask while my Longer Ray5 20W is running. Worth the investment.
Laser engraving with 40w laser. Have done multiple cuts with zero smoke. However, you will still have a little bit of smell. I have an ozone generator that I plan on running after I have vacated the room. This unit comes with a few prefilters which I imagine get clogged pretty quick. It looks like replacement filters are on back order so I'm hoping they are available when I need them.Great for the price considering anything that does better costs double.
Remote sometimes works, suction is the same with a half price machine, only filter bigger, and filter replacement is so expensive
I had this hooked up to my 10w enclosed laser engraver and it worked well removing the smoke and smell from my machine. Now I use this connected to my airbrush booth and it also works well for this!
I tested the first filter with a small welding job. It is not meant for it but it did work. This is much better suited to a 30w laser.
The FC-2002 fume extractor is designed for light-to-medium smoke applications, including laser engravers up to 20 W, soldering, resin 3D printing, and craft workshops.
It provides 153 CFM of focused suction power — ideal for light engraving on wood, leather, and coated plastics.
For heavy-smoke materials such as acrylic or MDF deep cutting, we recommend upgrading to FumeClear FC-350 or XL Series, which offer higher airflow and larger activated-carbon filters for dense odor
removal.
Of course! The FC2002 fume extractor is very suitable for laser engravers with 10-20W laser power. Its 260m³/h air
intake ensures complete absorption of the fumes generated during laser engraving.
The main difference is that the FC-2002A includes an external exhaust hose, allowing you to vent the filtered air outside — a feature often required by schools, labs, or public institutions to meet air-safety standards.
Visually, the FC-2002 comes in classic silver, while the FC-2002A features a black finish for easy model distinction.

💡 Tip:
For private workshops or small studios, FC-2002 already delivers clean air through safe internal circulation. For regulated or enclosed environments, FC-2002A provides extra compliance and flexibility.
You can order original FC-2002 filters directly from our official site here.
We recommend replacing:
Pre-filter
every 1-3 months
Middle HEPA filter every 3-6 months
Activated carbon filter every 6-8 months
The lifespan depends on usage intensity and material types.
Our remote control unified use of CR2025 button cell, the remote control has been equipped with a, can be used directly.
